I’ve just completed this EC-Council exam after reading the Sybex study material (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Certified-Ethical-Hacker-Study-Guide/dp/0470525207/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1280148124&sr=8-1) as it seemed to be the best of a bad bunch. Now if I had gone into this exam with just the preparation of this book I can safely say that I would have become unstuck. There’s loads of content missing, much too much to list here. I can just be thankful that I’d attended the CSTA & CSTP courses at 7Safe (www.7safe.com) as these gave a much greater understanding of the concepts that would be in question in the EC0-350 exam (all 150 questions and 4.5 hours of it!)
Would I do the exam/study again, probably not, I’d more likely concentrate on PWB (Pentesting with Backtrack) http://www.offensive-security.com/live-information-security-training/pentesting-with-backtrack/. If anyone has an thoughts or experience with this course I’d be happy to hear from you.
